Ganga Das Welch, co-owner of The Seasoned Sage Catering Company, is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in menu design, event coordination, and fine dining service. He brings a refined approach to catering, overseeing all aspects of each event from crafting custom menus to ensuring seamless execution for weddings, private gatherings, and corporate functions. Prior to founding The Seasoned Sage, Ganga served as Wine Director and Bartender at Cottonwood Restaurant, honing his expertise in wine selection and customer service. He also held the role of General Manager and Wine Director at Dragonfly Restaurant, where he managed front-of-house operations. His background showcases a broad skill set in food quality, presentation, and event logistics, paired with a deep-rooted passion for quality food, wine, and exceptional event experiences.
Priya Hutner, founder and co-owner of The Seasoned Sage Catering Company, is a private chef, manager, and entrepreneur with over three decades of culinary expertise. Since founding The Seasoned Sage in 2014, she has served hundreds of clients throughout the Tahoe region, curating and creating delicious menus that make each event, special occasion, or private engagement a memorable culinary experience.Priya also shares her passion through corporate cooking classes, where she leads team-building sessions that foster connection and culinary confidence. In addition to her catering work, Priya has served as the food editor and recipe creator for The Tahoe Guide for the past ten years.
